Happy 100th anniversary, St. Martin of Tours

St. Martin of Tours Church on Sunday celebrated its 100th anniversary.

The day started with tours of the elementary school and light refreshments in the gym.

A Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Edward Adams.

The celebration continued at Cannstatter’s, moved indoors due to the rain. About 400 people attended the event, which featured a DJ, raffles and T-shirt and bracelet sales.

The event was planned by a volunteer committee chaired by Brenda Malavet.

St. Martin’s will close its 100th anniversary celebration with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez on Saturday, Oct. 14. ••
